SOLUA

BIO

SOLUA is an uplifting world-music band that fuses Afro-Brazilian and Caribbean Zouk influences into a signature tropical sound. Their music flows effortlessly across jazz, funk, classical, bossa nova, hip-hop, and reggae, creating a warm, unified atmosphere that dissolves barriers and spreads love through heartfelt expression.

When SOLUA takes the stage, the energy surges into a Brazilian-Caribbean carnival, igniting the dance floor with infectious global rhythms. Front-woman Melissa Cambon, raised on the sultry Caribbean island of Guadeloupe by Brazilian and French parents, draws deeply from her vibrant heritage. Her smooth, multilingual vocals are joined by Indian flute and wind virtuoso Ravi Sangha, Kuranda reggae artist Isaac Crowley on bass and hip-hop vocals, Italian drummer Mario, and Lalita on drums and pandeiro.

Together, SOLUA soothes with soul-stirring, message-rich ballads before lifting the room into a high-vibration celebration ultimately moving listeners through the full spectrum of their radiant sound.
