What are the Festival opening hours?
Opening hours for 2017 are as follows:
Thursday 26th October : 5.30pm - 11.30pm
Friday 27th October : 11.30pm - 11.30pm
Saturday 28th October : 10.00am - 11.30pm
Sunday 29th October : 10.00am - 10.00pm

Where can I get a timetable/line-up/programme?
The most updated version of the program is available from our Program page, which you can download onto your mobile devices. Please refrain from printing as we will have programs posted around the festival site. Please note that the programme is subject to change without notice.
What is happening on Thursday 26th October 2017?
Can I come to the Pre Festival Party only?
Yes, you can! However we are now sold out of Thursday day tickets and there will be none available on the door.
Festival facilities & services
Is there good phone reception on the Festival site?
Telstra has good coverage most places on the island, other networks such as Optus, Virgin etc are not as strong. You can still get reception at various parts of the festival site.
Will I be able to charge my phone at the Festival?
There are no phone charging stations on site.
Can I withdraw cash at the Festival?
Yes, an ATM is available right next to the Festival Shop, on your right when entering the site. Festival map available from our Location page.
What are the different payment methods accepted at the Festival?
The bar accepts cash, EFTPOS and does cash out, while most food vendors and market stalls will also have EFTPOS.
Is there a cloakroom?
No there isn't any cloakroom service available at the Festival.
Who can I contact regarding lost and founds?
During the event, lost & founds will be operating from the Operations Center (next to the Festival Shop at the festival entrance). On Monday, Operations will still be operating from 10am-1.30pm. After that, please post on the Facebook event page, and either someone will manifest him/herself or the Festival team will get in touch.
Is there First Aid on site?
If you are in danger or have concerns about your safety, please contact the police on 000 at any time. If you’re in need of first aid or help of medical staff, go immediately to the First Aid Tent located at the beach entrance between the Coconut Lounge and Kids Space, or contact the safety personnel wearing orange vests. Are there toilets on site?
Yes, compost toilets are available on your left as you walk into the festival, right after the Art Gallery, and male urinals are located in the licensed bar area.
Is there drinkable water?
Yes! Two free filtered water fountains sponsored by the Redland City Council can be found on site. One located right at the entrance, directly on your left when you walk into the festival, and the other one in the Lion Mane Stage Green Room.
Are there vegetarian, vegan, gluten and dairy-free food options?
Yes, we have a fantastic variety of delicious food vendors who accommodate for most dietary requirements.
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately we cannot accept animals on site.
Can I smoke at the Festival?
Smoking is banned in the bar. Please be considerate when smoking on the festival site (and anywhere else on the Island) and remember Island Vibe is a Butt free event, so please Bin Your Butts so they don't stomp the dancefloor!
Can I drink alcohol at the Festival?
Yes, but make sure you only drink alcohol purchased from the Festival bar and within the licensed bar area. Island Vibe is NOT a BYO event. Bags will be checked for alcohol upon entry on the festival site.
Are there any prohibited items?
Yes, due to safety reasons and a pleasant festival experience, do NOT bring the following items to the festival area (bags will be checked upon entry on the festival site):
– Alcoholic beverages
– Glass containers
– Pets or other animals
– Weapons of any kind, firearms, drugs/narcotics, any other illegal items
– Aerosol sprays (hairsprays, deodorants, paints etc.)
Are kids welcome?
Yes! We are an all ages event and we make sure that your kids have plenty to do at the kids and workshops space. Full program available on our Program page. Please refrain from printing as we will have programs posted around the festival site. Minors do not even need a festival wristband if they are under 13 years old! Youth tickets are available for minors between 13 and 17yo.
Is the Festival accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Yes and there is a wheelchair toilet facility near the main entrance right outside the festival.
transport & travel
How far is the beach?
Home Beach is 30 metres from the Festival, just behind the tree line! We've made a special beach entrance for easy access! It is a stunning sheltered beach ideal for swimming with the possibility of spotting a dolphin or two...
How can I travel to the Festival?

Is there a bicycle parking?
We encourage all Vibers to ride to the Festival if they can! There is a bicycle rack right in front of the main festival entrance.
Where can I park my car?
Best not to bring your car to the festival and leave it at your accommodation, even better leave it on the mainland! Parking will be prohibited on the kerbside along the festival site. Disabled parking spaces will be available within walking disctance of the festival. We encourage patrons to use public transport, carpooling or bring a bicycle from their accommodation to avoid congestion. Details on public transport on our Transport page.

After-hours festival shuttles: FROM FESTIVAL TO DUNWICH (Pick-up at bus stop across the street from the festival, between Chillers and the Bowls Club):
· 11:30pm - direct to Dunwich
· 9:30pm - direct to Dunwich
· 11:30pm - via Amity Point
· 7:30pm - direct to Dunwich (to connect with last barge)
· 9:30pm - via Amity Point
Additionally, a late festival shuttle will be continuously running from 10pm-12am on Friday and Saturday between the Festival gates and Point Lookout accommodations. Fare: gold coin donations.
festival camping & island accommodation
Does the festival ticket include camping?
No, the festival ticket does not include camping, but you can purchase camping at Adder Rock at the same time as your festival ticket from our Ticketbooth page.
What are the accommodation options available on the Island?
Check our Accommodation page for all options. When booking camping at the Adder Rock campground (not included in festival ticket and only accessible to Island Vibe ticket holders), please make sure to book the appropriate camping site (check campgroung map here)! Camping tickets to be purchased from the same page as the festival tickets at https://events.ticketbooth.com.au/event/island-vibe-festival-2017.
When I arrive at the Adder Rock campground, can I set up camp anywhere?
No, please check in with the Camp Warden and wait to be guided to your pre-booked site.
Is it possible to reserve/allocate a specific space for me in general camping or the campervan fields?
Yes - You can book through: https://events.ticketbooth.com.au/event/island-vibe-festival-2017 and check the Adder Rock Campground map to pick the best spot.

What are the Box Office operating hours?
Thursday 26th: 3pm - 9.30 pm
Friday 27th: 11am - 10pm
Saturday 28th: 10am - 10pm
Sunday 29th : 10am - 8pm.
When will I receive my e-ticket?
You should receive your e-ticket via email at time of purchase. If you haven't, please contact support.ticketbooth.com.au.
Do I need to print my e-ticket to get a wristband?
You need to bring either a printed copy or a downloaded version e-ticket on your electronic device. Please ensure you have your ID for presentation at both the Box Office and Adder Rock campground.
Will I be able to buy tickets at the gate?
Yes! Please be aware that prices will be higher than if purchased online at http://bit.ly/IslandVibeTickets.
What are the different payment methods accepted at the Box Office?
You can use cash and EFTPOS to pay at the Box Office.
When can I pick my 3-day season pass?
You can pick-up your 3-day season pass/wristband no earlier than Friday 10am.
Can I pick up a wristband for another person?
The wristband will be applied and tightened on the ticket holder’s wrist upon pick up. Therefore, the wristband cannot be picked up by anyone else but the ticket holder personally.
Can I share a wristband with another person?
The wristband is personal and it cannot be shared with anyone else, it must be worn during the whole time it is valid. An unattached wristband is not valid for entrance.
Can I exit and reenter the site with a day wristband?
Yes, Island Vibe attendees with an appropriate day or season wristband can enter and exit the festival site as they wish while their wristband is valid.
I cannot attend the event anymore, how do I get refunded?
There is no refund policy. However you can change the name on the ticket via support.ticketbooth.com.au for a $20 fee.
Can I volunteer/have a stall/present a workshop/perform at Island Vibe Festival 2017?
Applications for most positions/roles will open early April 2018. Please make sure to follow us on the Facebook to be the first to know opening dates for all applications types for 2018.
Expressions of interest submitted before the official opening dates and through any other means than the online application forms will not be considered.
