Arts Culture & Community
The festival’s Arts and Culture Program has developed over the past three years. It has evolved from a celebration through music, dance, art and cultures of Indigenous Peoples locally, across Australia , throughout the Pacific and beyond. It has grown in content to provide artistic & cultural exchange opportunities for the local island community, and strives to create harmony among cultures by coming together on equal ground, in a positive environment, on a stunningly beautiful island – Minjerribah!
Customary protocols, community consultation, participation, equal representation, cultural education, increased understanding and CELEBRATION are at the forefront of this evolving program.
